After transferring many VHS tapes to DVD discs I've noticed there is noticeable video quality loss after only 14-16 years with normal storage conditions (bookshelf).
Transfer VHS Tapes: This video is "The Santa Clause" that was released in 1994.
Record Video Games: In this video I am playing "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" on the Nintendo Wii
I finally caved and just had my VHS to DVD transfer done professionally. They did a great job on both of my orders.
