Why Transfer VHS to DVD?

DVD-R and DVD+R discs have a life span of up to 100 years or longer depending on the quality of the DVD disc you buy. Meaning the brand you buy and the kind of dyes used to make the disc.

Since transferring VHS tapes to DVD can improve the lifespan of your home videos as long as 100 years or more.  This makes it perfect for you because most computers come with a DVD burner and just about everyone owns a DVD player.

You can count on DVD discs lasting your life time at least; but if that's not enough transferring VHS to DVD is also going to make it a lot easier for you to transfer your home videos onto the next type of media someday faster!

Once you have your VHS tapes on DVD it will make it easier for you to watch since the DVD player and Blu Ray players are what we use most often.

You already have more than half of the hardware you need to transfer VHS to DVD. (DVD Burner, DVD Player) The only thing you need is a way to hook your VCR to your computer.
